Thirty yearsof noise
Thirty years between punk, noise, post-punk and desert rock: from South Breed Out and Two Moons to The Anomalies.
Emil Moonstone is an Italian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Bologna. A journey through noise, introspection and a constant search for new forms of expression.
Punk origins
Founds several punk outfits (Burp, Nevrotic Heads, DDT, Flying Chips and Pastonudo) that define his early years of activity.
South Breed Out
The turning point: a noise band in which he serves as leader and iconic vocalist.
Post-punk & darkwave
After a period of artistic silence he returns alongside Joshep Rips Asanda to form Two Moons, still active, with one EP and four albums that built his international presence.
Disappointed
A solo record entirely written and performed by him, condensing three decades of music. It reaches #6 on the iTunes Top 100 Alternative chart.
Naked is man upon the earth
The Anomalies, born as a backing band, become an organic unit. Released on Seahorse Recordings: piano arpeggios, noise riffs and desert-rock influences.
Human Error
A new chapter that deepens the psychological and sonic journey of the “Anomalies”, between dystopian visions and a renewed expressive urgency.
Line-up
Five musicians, one dark and determined core.
