War Is A Mistake
Dust on the fading sun
Dreams dying in the wind
Stars falling down
Muffled screams in the blue
Children born in terror
No more color, their tears a river
War is a mistake
Let’s run to them for a hug
We must no longer suffer
Only love to not lie
Empty and desolate fields
Broken hearts are full of sadness
Wars born by madness
Only love is the way
Burned photographs
Hopes never lit
People who will not return
Voices that will not hear
Let’s dream of a world without fear
A place where there is no censorship
Free to love and hope
Every soul deserves to fly
Children born in terror
No more color
Their tears a river
A world without light
War is a mistake
Let’s run to them for a hug
We must no longer sufferOnly love to not lie
